Events   Good Fellows

        The Good fellows is a very important part of our Lodge. Every year the Linton Elks hosts fundraisers and other events to raise money for this charity. Once we have raised the money before Christmas we purchase and deliver Christmas Baskets to people in our community. Every year it is tradition at our lodge the officer sitting in the Esteemed Loyal Night's chair is over this event. This past year in 2008 was Rob Whitaker, this coming year in 2009 will be Dean Miller. All persons involved in putting this on is strictly volunteer which consist of many of our members, lodge officers,  and some from our community who just wanted to pitch in and help out. This past year we delivered enough baskets to feed 560 people, almost all in Greene County.
